Dave Sweet Longboard #2
Dave Sweet Longboard #2, from The Fin Project by Timothy Hogan.
The painterly blue colors and swirling, layered textures in this photograph form a rich feast for the eye. It's the perfect statement in any room, from a modern urban loft to beach retreat.
Dave Sweet was an innovative surfboard manufacturer from Santa Monica, California. This is a very early example (c. 1953) and features beautiful, haphazard resin work. The board is from the collection of the Surfing Heritage and Cultural Center.
